The Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer (ReactJS) to join a high-performing technology team delivering modern web applications and digital experiences for enterprise customers.
n
Based in Sydney, this role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality React applications that are responsive, scalable, and user-centric. You will work closely with designers, product teams, and backend engineers to translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into robust frontend solutions.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS and related frontend technologies
n
Transform UI/UX wireframes and designs into responsive, accessible, and production-ready interfaces
n
Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, business stakeholders, and backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences
n
Build reusable frontend components and maintain scalable application architecture
n
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
n
Optimise applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
n
Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to frontend best practices and coding standards
n
Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks,



and production issues
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, delivery, and development processes
n
Remain current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and development trends
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
Strong commercial experience developing applications using ReactJS
n
Proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
n
Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces
n
Hands‐on experience with React state management solutions such as Redux, MobX, Context API, or equivalent
n
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
n
Robust understanding of frontend performance optimisation techniques
n
Experience using Git and modern version control practices
n
Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
n
Ability to work effectively within Agile delivery environments
n
n
Desirable Experience
n
n
Experience with TypeScript
n
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, or similar
n
Experience with CSS preprocessors including SASS or LESS
n
Exposure to modern build and bundling tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite
n
Understanding of web accessibility standards and security best practices
n
Experience working on enterprise-scale or customer-facing digital platforms
n
Exposure to cloud-native environments and modern software delivery practices
n
Previous experience working in consulting or large-scale delivery environments
n

Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
n
7-15 years' experience in frontend or web application development
n
Demonstrated experience delivering commercial ReactJS solutions
n
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities
n
A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
n
