About the Role
n
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimating Team Leader to lead our estimating department and support the delivery of high-quality outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimator looking to take the next step in their career, or an established leader seeking a new challenge within a supportive and growing organisation.
n
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the estimating team, driving efficiency and accuracy across the estimating process, and ensuring the department delivers timely outcomes.
n
In addition to managing the local estimating function, you will also provide leadership, support and oversight to two offshore estimators, ensuring workflows, quality standards and deadlines are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead, mentor and develop the estimating team.
n




Manage workloads and allocate tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved.
n
Provide guidance and support to two offshore estimators.
n
Review estimates for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
n
Report on margins as required
n
Assisting in the maintenance of BOQs with other relevant stakeholders
n
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
n
Work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, drafting, building administration and construction teams.
n
Monitor department performance and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
n
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of team members.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
Experience in medium density is advantageous.
n
Leadership or supervisory experience within an estimating environment is preferred
n
Strong understanding of residential building methods and construction costs.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
n
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
A collaborative leadership style with a focus on team development.
n
