Maintenance Fitter - PM Shift | Cleveland, QLD

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our ever-growing maintenance team, located at our Cleveland site.
n
PM shifts – 2.00pm to *****pm
n
Monday to Friday + some Saturdays & O/T (as required)
n
Support the production operations through proactive/reactive maintenance.
n
Fabrication and repair of food processing
equipment/machinery.
n
Minimise downtime of production through effective maintenance.
n
Support current and upcoming projects/upgrade processes.
n
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage and equipment guarding.
n
Regular reporting to the site Maintenance Manager.
n




Certificate 3 in Engineering (Mechanical) or Fitter & Turner trade.
n
Metal fabrication skills and experience (machining/ TIG welding).
n
Experience working within a production/food manufacturing environment - advantageous.
n
Knowledge of production machinery to be able to tend to breakdowns or other assigned tasks.
n
Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.
n
Self-motivated and a quick learner.
n
LF Forklift Licence - desirable, but not mandatory.
n
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
n
Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.
n
Permanent employment – Full-time hours.
n
Weekly tool allowance.
n
ASAP start.
n
