About the Opportunity

We're seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for short-term contracts across a range of hospitals and facilities throughout Queensland, including Mackay, Biloela, Rockhampton, Taroom, Mount Morgan, Goondiwindi, and Kingaroy. These rewarding opportunities place you in dynamic ED settings where your clinical expertise, adaptability, and ability to thrive under pressure will make a real impact on patient care.

Your Key Responsibilities
n
n




Triage & assessment of patients with acute and emergency presentations
n
Deliver safe, timely, high-quality care in dynamic ED settings
n
Respond to trauma and resuscitation scenarios
n
Administer medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines
n
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient flow
n
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and infection-control standards
n
Provide patient education and reassurance during high-stress situations
n

What You'll Need
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum 2 years' recent ED experience
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Competence in Triage, Resuscitation, and Cannulation
n
Robust clinical judgement and confidence working in new environments
n
