MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading health and disability services provider to appoint an experienced Area Manager to oversee two sites across the Northern Territory.
n
This is an opportunity for an experienced people leader to step into a senior operational role, providing leadership across multiple sites and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery for clients living with complex disabilities.
n
Reporting directly to the Director, Client Services, you will play a key role in leading teams, strengthening operational performance and ensuring a strong culture of person-centred support across your area.
n
About the opportunity
n
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can confidently move between strategic oversight and frontline operational leadership.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Providing leadership and operational oversight across two NT sites
n
Directly leading and developing staff at one site while providing senior leadership to the established Residential Supervisor at the other
n
Ensuring consistent, high-quality and person-centred service delivery across both locations
n
Coaching, mentoring and developing leaders to strengthen their capability and performance
n
Maintaining appropriate staffing levels, supporting recruitment and managing vacancies
n
Supporting rosters, payroll and people management processes
n
Monitoring compliance, quality standards, training and operational requirements
n
Overseeing client intake, referrals and admission processes
n
Managing budgets and contributing to strong financial performance across the area
n
Supporting quality improvement, risk management, health and safety and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contributing to broader organisational initiatives
n
Reporting on KPIs, operational outcomes, budgets and performance to the Director, Client Services
n

About you
n
We are looking for a confident and experienced people leader who is comfortable operating across multiple sites and can bring structure, accountability and genuine care to their leadership approach.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
Proven experience leading teams within disability, community services, aged care or a similar human services environment
n
Experience managing across multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams
n
Robust people leadership, coaching and performance management capability
n
Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance
n
A strong understanding of quality, compliance, risk and service delivery requirements
n
The ability to build trust and relationships at all levels of an organisation
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
A genuine commitment to person-centred practice and supporting people with disability to achieve greater choice, independence and participation
n
A Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or Aged Care, along with a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and full Australian Driver's Licence
n
