Job Description
Our client, Dubbo Base Hospital & Health Service, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Mental Health Inpatient Unit for a six-week contract role. Based in Dubbo, NSW, this position runs from 17 August to 28 September **** and offers an opportunity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to inpatients in a supportive clinical environment. The successful candidate will earn between AUD$***** and AUD$***** per hour, working within a dedicated mental health team committed to recovery-focused practice.

Six-week contract with flexible hourly rates from AUD$45 to AUD$60 per hour

Work in a specialist mental health inpatient setting with a team-oriented, recovery-oriented team

Based in Dubbo, NSW with clear contract dates and defined duration

Preferred Requirements
n
n




Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
n
Demonstrated experience and competence in mental health nursing
n
Strong assessment and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients
n
Knowledge of mental health legislation, duty of care, and risk management in inpatient settings
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or specialisation in mental health nursing
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
