We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Store Assistant to join our growing Snap-on Tools business servicing Penrith, Richmond and the Blue Mountains.
n
This isn't your typical retail or sales role.
n
You'll work side-by-side with the multi-franchise owner, learning every aspect of the business while building relationships with mechanics, technicians and workshop owners. Every day is different as you travel on a fully equipped mobile showroom, demonstrating industry-leading tools and helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.

For the right person, this role can be the first step towards managing your own truck, building your own customer base and even becoming a Snap-on Franchisee.

Your Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver exceptional customer service to an established customer base
n
Demonstrate and sell hand tools, power tools, tool storage solutions and diagnostic equipment
n
Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor
n
Process customer transactions using the onboard POS system
n
Assist with stock ordering, merchandising and inventory management
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and visual merchandising within the mobile store and warehouse
n
Complete general administrative tasks
n
Load, unload and handle products up to 20kg
n
Enter and exit the truck multiple times throughout the day
n
Drive a manual MR pantech truck on a designated route
n

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves
n
n
A genuine passion for the Snap-on brand
n
A strong interest in cars, tools and the automotive industry
n
Previous sales experience (minimum 1 year)
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
A desire to build a long-term career, not just find another job
n
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
n
Excellent time management and reliability
n
Confidence using computers and basic business systems
n
MR Licence (must obtain before commencement)
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Automotive industry experience
n
Mechanical knowledge gained through work, study or personal hobbies
n
Retail or customer service experience
n
Experience building customer relationships and achieving sales targets
n
