About the Role:
n
You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations on projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Supervise and coordinate day to day construction activities, coordinate contractors and staff to ensure projects are delivered safely on schedule and in line with project schedule, contracts and quality requirements.
n
Lead site safety initiatives and enforce WHS compliance. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
n
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
n
Work closely with Project Engineers and senior management to deliver project outcomes providing regular reports to Project Stakeholders.
n
Maintain accurate site documentation including permits, drawings, reports and QA / QC documents.
n
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining productivity and performance
n

About You:
n
n
Proven experience in civil construction supervision, particularly in bulk earthworks
n
Minimum 5+ years of civil construction supervision experience required
n
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate site activities effectively
n
Experience and proven knowledge when working with a variety of heavy machinery and operators
n
Excellent and proactive communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
n
Ability to work across a varied roster and adapt to changing project requirements
n
Must be available for FIFO arrangements as part of varied roster requirements
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
Australian work rights are required for this position
n
Must hold Construction White Card,
Diploma/Certificate
IV in Construction, and relevant trade qualification
n
Valid car driver's licence required
n
Strong safety focus and aligning with Industry specific Australian Standards, along with company policies and procedures
n
