An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Security Officer to live and work onsite in Yulara, NT—just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking a professional and proactive Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming workplace for our guests, residents, and team members. You will play a key role in daily security operations, responding to incidents and supporting the resort through active patrols, monitoring, and emergency response.
n
In this role, you will respond to a variety of situations including alarm activations, noise complaints, anti-social behavior, domestic incidents, and medical emergencies. You will work both independently and as part of a close-knit team, contributing to the safety and wellbeing of the Yulara community.

Key Duties
n
n
Monitor guest and resident behaviour and respond to incidents and complaints promptly and professionally
n
Conduct patrols (on foot and by vehicle) to ensure the safety of guests, residents, and resort infrastructure
n
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and effective manner
n
Manage access control across designated zones, including monitoring movement of people, vehicles, and goods
n
Identify and report unauthorised personnel onsite
n
Maintain accurate records and incident reports in line with operational requirements
n
Utilise electronic security systems and communication equipment in daily operations
n
n
To Be Considered, You Will Have:
n
n
Minimum Certificate II in Security
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification (valid for at least 6 months)
n
Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
n
Ability to obtain and maintain NT Security Officer and Crowd Control licences (interstate mutual recognition accepted)
n
Ability to obtain and maintain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
n
A valid full Australian Driver's Licence
n
n
Highly Regarded (Desirable)
n
n
Experience in remote or complex operating environments (e.g. mining, university, aviation, or resort settings)
n
Experience responding to incidents and preparing reports
n
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
n
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies
n
Qualification in drug and alcohol testing (e.g. HLTPAT010 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing)
n
