An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a prestigious and highly anticipated refurbishment project in St Kilda.

Working with a well-established and highly regarded Melbourne builder, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of an iconic refurbishment project, working alongside an experienced project team and high-calibre consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
n
This is an prospect to work on a project where quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount, making it ideal for a Site Manager who takes genuine pride in the finished product.

The Role
n
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

Take ownership of the day-to-day site operations and project delivery
n
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and site personnel
n
Drive construction sequencing, programming and project milestones
n
Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
n
Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, consultants, architects and client
n
Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries and construction activities
n
Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
n




Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
n
Maintain a well-organised, safe and professional site environment
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment, fitout or complex commercial construction.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a reputable commercial builder
n
Strong refurbishment or fitout experience
n
Excellent understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
n
Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Ability to manage a complex project from commencement through to completion
n
Relevant trade or construction qualifications highly regarded
n
