We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Plate Profiling team in Milperra on a full-time, permanent basis.
n
This is a great chance for someone with experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting who takes pride in producing quality work and is looking to build a long-term career within the steel industry.

What We're Looking For:
n
n
Previous experience in plasma and/or oxy cutting
n
Ability to read technical drawings
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
n
Working with Overhead Cranes (training provided if required)
n
n
What You'll Be Doing:
n
n
Review and pick jobs for the machine, ensuring the correct materials and specifications are prepared
n




Set up and calibrate oxy and plasma cutting machines
n
Load and unload steel materials for processing
n
Program machines with appropriate cutting parameters
n
Monitor cutting processes to ensure quality and efficiency
n
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
n
Ensure accuracy and quality of finished product
n
