Portsmith Fuel & Oil, a locally owned North Queensland company are seeking the services of suitably qualified Truck Driver on a full time basis to join their team at their Cairns based Depot.

Qualifications & experience
n
n
HC/ MC licence.
n
Previous experience as a truck driver; fuel experience preferred but not essential
n
Bulk Dangerous Goods licence preferred
n
Attention to detail and the ability complete all required paperwork
n
Good customer service and communication skills
n
Previous experience with Fatigue Management desirable
n
The ability to work weekends, early mornings and/or evenings
n
n
Tasks & responsibilities
n
n
Completing daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
n
Complete logbook and fatigue management procedures
n
Follow instructions from schedulers for daily duties, trip sheets and time-frames
n
Develop positive relationships with customers
n
Loading, transportation and delivery of fuels
n
Ensure safety and compliance is adhered to at all times
n
