What You Will Be Working On
n
Your job will be to stand behind providing timely and useful insight and interpretations,



not just a download of the numbers. You will lead the finance rhythm across reporting, forecasting, cash flow, month-end, controls and compliance. More importantly, you will help the business understand what the numbers mean and what should happen next.
n
Your focus will include:
n
Delivering clear monthly and quarterly reporting, dashboards and forecasts
n
Providing practical variance analysis and financial insight
n
Improving cash flow forecasting and working capital discipline
n
Supporting board reporting and senior leadership decision-making
n
Analysing performance, margins, pricing and commercial risk
n
Strengthening controls, systems, data integrity and finance processes
n
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
n
You will be a hands-on Head of Finance, Financial Controller or senior finance professional who can operate confidently in a small, fast-moving business.
n
You will bring:
n
Strong finance experience in an SME or operational business
n
Confidence across reporting, forecasting, cash flow and month-end with an understanding of the value of structure and processes
n
Commercial judgement around performance, margins and risk
n
The ability to engage with a range of senior stakeholders through clear financial insight
n
Initiative to improve systems and processes without overcomplicating them
n
A relationship-led style suited to a small, close-knit team
n
You may currently be a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Commercial Manager or hands-on CFO looking for broader influence.
