We supply premium quality apples and pears to domestic and export customers – from growing and harvesting through to sorting, packing, marketing and freight. The Role
n
Loading outbound packed fruit carefully onto trucks that are safely prepared for trips is the primary responsibility of the Yardperson.
n
This role is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, is organised, reliable and has a good work ethic.
n
The role can be tailored to a full-time or part-time permanent position.
n
It is primarily a yard-based role, keeping truck loading operations running smoothly day-to-day, however we are looking for someone flexible who is happy to pitch in wherever needed, including occasional trips to Melbourne or Sydney.

In this role you will:
n
n
Load & unload inbound & outbound goods (using a forklift);
n
Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions;
n




Ensure the yard & equipment is maintained and kept tidy and protected;
n
Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas;
n
Ensure documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation are done correctly;
n
Use computer software for picking, receiving, put-away and load functions.
n
Assist in timely departure of trucks;
n
Transportation of fruit within Victoria
n
Ensuring load is securely restrained and covered to prevent damage
n
Maintaining and completing pre-start safety checks on the vehicle
n
Preparing and completing log book requirements, loading and delivery documentation.

About You
n
To be considered for this role, you must have:
n
n
Valid HC or MC Truck Licence with B double experience
n
A strong work ethic
n
Proven ability to work as part of a team and autonomously without supervision
n
n
Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
n
