Mental Health & Disability Support Worker - Leadership, Integrity & Real Support Matter!

Position: Mental Health Support Worker/Disability Support Worker
n Location: Across all Moreton Bay Region & Outer Brisbane North
n Employment Type: Casual (with clear pathway to permanent roles)

About the Role
n
As a Mental Health Support Worker with ARS, you will be working in our ILO teams, supporting participants with complex behaviour support needs and Mental Health presentations and recovery.
n
n
Deliver person-centred supports aligned with individual support plans
n
Promote independence, dignity, and choice
n
Contribute to a positive mental health recovery and support culture
n
Support participants in ILO, In home and Community Access settings
n
Maintain accurate and professional documentation (we value Data and Documentation)
n
Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies
n
Always maintain skilled boundaries. We are here to heal our participants, not to harm them.
n
Contribute to a safe and respectful environment for participants and your fellow team members. We have a **** focus on your safety both physically and emotionally.

This role requires emotional intelligence, resilience, accountability, and strong communication skills.

What We're Looking For
n
You will bring:
n
n
Minimum 12 months disability or community services experience (preferred)
n
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or willingness to obtain) or any Mental Health qualifications
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
n
Current Blue Card (QLD)
n
First Aid & CPR
n
Valid Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle
n
Enclosed, and non-slip professional and safe footwear
n
Ability to follow policies, procedures and professional boundaries
n
Confidence in managing behaviours of concern (desirable)
n
Experience in SIL or high intensity supports (highly regarded)
n
n
