Requirements:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide support and assistance to individuals who require assistance with their daily living activities. The PCA will be responsible for providing personal care, emotional support, and companionship to clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming.
n
Supporting clients with daily living activities.
n
Assisting with mobility and transfers as required.
n
Supporting medication routines in accordance with the client's care plan and organisational procedures.
n
Providing companionship and emotional support.
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
n
Completing relevant documentation and reporting any changes in the client's wellbeing.
n
Working respectfully with clients, families and other care professionals.
n
About You
n
The ideal candidate will have:




n
Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant, Support Worker or similar role.
n
A caring, respectful and person-centred approach.
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Requirements:
n
Certificate 3 In Aged care or Individual support.
n
Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred
n
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
n
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Compassionate and patient personality
n
Working Conditions: PCAs may work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences. The work may involve standing or walking for extended periods, and may require lifting or moving clients. PCAs may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of their clients.
