We are looking for passionate, caring, and highly organised Catering Assistants (Kitchen Hand) to join our team on a Casual basis in Chipping Norton!
n
Working closely with the Executive Chef Manager you will be responsible for:
n
The preparation and service of high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents on-site.
n
Food preparation, basic cooking, food presentation and plating, and food delivery/service to dining areas.
n
Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that residents receive a warm welcome, individualised attention, and responsive service.
n
Complying with all food and safety requirements as regulated and scheduled.
n
Assisting with stock control, rotation of stock, and receipting deliveries.
n
Contributing to a harmonious and cooperative team culture based on mutual respect and trust.
n
The successful applicants will display:

Previous experience in food preparation within a commercial kitchen, preferably in an aged care or health services environment.
n
Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts AM/PM weekdays and weekends.
n
Compliance with required Food and Safety Standards and relevant legislation.
n
Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
n
Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent qualification desirable.
