About the Opportunity
n
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Electrical Supervisor and work on a 2:2 day and night shift roster.
n
Your focus will be on maintaining fixed plant to ensure reliable operations in line with operational targets, statutory regulations, and company standards.
n
Your primary responsibilities will include:
n
n
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and instrumentation, including calibration, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues.
n
Conducting preventive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with company and statutory standards.
n
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
n
Documenting maintenance activities, equipment status, and work orders accurately in the maintenance management system (Pronto).
n




Collaborating with other teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
n
Complying with all safety standards, procedures, and processes while demonstrating exemplary behaviour.
n

About You
n
Our ideal candidate will have solid experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, including expertise in failure analysis and fault-finding, ideally with fixed plant processing systems in the mining industry.
n
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
n
n
A Grade Electrical Worker's Licence (WA).
n
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation.
n
Certificate in High Voltage Switching Operations.
n




High voltage switching and maintenance experience.
n
First aid certificate including Low Voltage Rescue and CPR.
n
Proficient in using computerised maintenance management systems (Pronto)
n
n
n

n
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation.
n

n

n
