Immediate start for an experienced Accountant to join our team at Shepperton on immediate basis. A firm run by a team of energetic professionals is excited to welcome a hands-on candidate, who is ready to hit the ground from day one with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
n
n
Preparing financial statements and managing bookkeeping in MYOB, QBO and Xero
n
Examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
n
Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
n
Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
n
Preparation of tax returns (Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies, SMSF)
n
Preparation of quarterly BAS (GST, FBT and PAYG)
n
Managing Employment obligations (Super, WorkCover, Payroll tax and STP)
n
Assisting in payroll & bookkeeping services including accounts payable & accounts receivable
n
Liaise with the ASIC, ATO, banks, insurers, auditors and various local authorities
n
n




What you will need to succeed
n
n
Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / CA or CPA aspirants
n
n
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant accounting experience post qualification
n
n
Software knowledge: MYOB, Quickbook, Xero, MS-Office
n
Good understanding of accounting & financial reporting practices
n
Excellent filing & organizing abilities including attention to detail
n
Professional client interaction & soft marketing skills Profile
n
n
Priority will be given if you are an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or if you have a valid visa to work in Australia.
n
n
Priority will be given to those people who have previous experience or exposure to Australian accounting software.
n
Training will be provided on the accounting work.
n
