Clinical Care Manager - East Melbourne

A leading not-for-profit aged care organisation is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Manager to provide clinical leadership across all aspects of operations within their large aged care facility in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
n
Reporting to the Residential Manager, you'll collaborate with management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff, and community agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-focused care and continuous service improvement.
n

Ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred care, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and accreditation outcomes.
n
Oversee a large facility with a MSU that provides specialised dementia care, fostering a warm and inclusive environment
n
Proven people
management/performance
skills as the organisation is going through a period of change and expansion
n
Currently have a 4 star rating and compliant across care minutes
n
Structure within the home: Clinical Manager, Unit Manager x 2 Quality, AN-ACC, Lifestyle Team, EN's, RN's and PCW/PCW Med Endorsed
n
Executive Structure: Board, CEO, Executive team across quality, residential, community and corporate services
n

This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical expertise, staff mentoring, and operational oversight to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Requirements:
n
n
Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a CCC/Care Manager (2IC) within the aged care sector.
n
Experience dealing with and overseeing dementia residents and memory support unit is highly desired
n
AHPRA Registration as anRegistered Nurse DIV 1
n
Extensive clinical skills & knowledge
n
Knowledge of the Accreditation process and incoming reforms
n
Ability to lead and support a multi-disciplinary team
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Experiencemanagingday
to day clinical issues
n
Current NDIS Check
n
