Help people overcome fear and regain independence
n
Join a leading multidisciplinary health and disability provider and work within a specialised phobia clinic supporting clients to overcome specific phobias and return to driving and everyday activities.
n
The Role
n
You'll primarily deliver a 6-session, CBT-based treatment program for specific phobias, including vehophobia, incorporating Virtual Reality (VR) exposure therapy.
n
There is also scope to work with clients across CTP, Workers Insurance, Medicare, private and employer-funded services.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Deliver psychological assessments and evidence-based treatment
n
Provide CBT interventions for anxiety and specific phobias
n
Use VR exposure therapy as part of treatment
n
Support clients to return to driving and achieve meaningful outcomes
n
Manage approximately 5–6 client sessions per day
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
n




Collaborate with clients, referrers and other professionals
n

About You
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Psychology
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Current SIRA registration or eligibility to obtain
n
Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
n
Strong psychological assessment and treatment skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
Experience in CTP/Workers Insurance, anxiety, specific phobias or vehophobia is highly regarded but not essential.
n
