n Shifts: Monday to Friday 9:30pm-5:30pm-MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH CHANGES TO START/FINISH TIMES

About the Role
n
Labourpower Recruitment Services is currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-focused forklift operators looking for ongoing work within a busy plastics manufacturing and warehouse setting.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift throughout the warehouse and production areas
n
Load and unload trucks and containers
n
Move raw materials, finished products, pallets and packaging throughout the site
n
Store and retrieve stock from designated warehouse locations
n
Supply materials to production areas as required
n
Remove and relocate finished goods from production
n
Assist with pallet movements and general warehouse duties
n
Conduct daily forklift pre-start safety checks
n
Follow site traffic management and forklift safety procedures
n
Maintain accurate stock movements where required
n
Keep work areas clean, organised and free from hazards
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
n
Work effectively with warehouse and production teams to meet daily targets
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
n




Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift
n
Previous warehouse, manufacturing or production experience
n
Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
Ability to safely move pallets and materials in a busy environment
n
Good understanding of workplace health and safety
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Reliable attendance and punctuality
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties when required
n
n
Requirements
n
Candidates must be prepared to:
n
n
Follow all site safety procedures
n
Wear required PPE at all times
n
Complete forklift pre-start checks
n
Follow designated forklift and pedestrian traffic areas
n
Maintain a safe distance from moving machinery and vehicles
n
Report hazards, incidents or damaged equipment immediately
n
n
PPE Requirements

Steel-cap safety boots
n
High-visibility clothing
n
Safety glasses
n
Other PPE as required by the site
n
