What you'll do Provide one-on-one peer support using your lived experience of mental health recovery.
Support people to identify and work towards their recovery goals.
Foster hope, empowerment, connection and self-advocacy.
Assist individuals to build community connections and strengthen natural supports.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, community partners and support networks.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service planning and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring A minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work (or equivalent recognised Peer Work qualification) Personal lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery, with the ability to use this experience purposefully and safely in a professional setting.
A strong commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Understanding of boundaries, confidentiality and professional practice.
A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve the outcomes that matter to them.
