This role is available as either a: 3-month contract position (ASAP start) Permanent position ******** FTE) Salary Benefits Contract Up to $70 per hour* ASAP start Permanent $88,000 - $100,000 per annum (pro rata for 0.8 FTE) Superannuation Relocation assistance Bonus opportunities (subject to confirmation) About the Role This position supports individuals experiencing moderate to complex mental health challenges through accessible, evidence-based and recovery-focused care.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, treatment and ongoing support to clients while contributing to positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
Develop case formulations and treatment plans.
Complete risk assessments and crisis intervention planning.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Provide client-centred care and support.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and high-quality clinical documentation.
Participate in case reviews, supervision and multidisciplinary meetings.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements Applicants must hold an approved tertiary qualification in one of the following: Mental Health Nursing You will also demonstrate: Experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
Experience completing risk assessments and risk management plans.
Solid understanding of mental health systems, legislation and professional standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong clinical documentation and report-writing skills.
Desirable Experience Experience working with complex presentations including PTSD, eating disorders or personality disorders.
Experience delivering group programs or therapeutic interventions.
Experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally diverse communities and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Experience with electronic medical record systems.
Master's or Doctoral qualifications.
Compliance Requirements Successful applicants must: Hold relevant registration and qualifications.
Complete a National Police Check.
Hold a current driver's licence.
Have full Australian working rights.
Hold any required Working With Children/Young People checks.
Be willing to participate in supervision and professional development activities.
