BEST LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICTS FOR ALLOWANCES Western NSW: Up to $1,155 per week, tax-free with eligible receipts Southern NSW: Up to $1,067 per week, tax-free with eligible receipts Murrumbidgee NSW: Up to $128 per eligible shift—approximately $512–$896 per week Allowance eligibility varies by facility.
Wagga Wagga and Griffith Base Hospital may not attract the same Murrumbidgee expense allowances, so this should be confirmed before accepting a contract.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONSDepending on the location, options may include: Onsite accommodation in private, lockable dormitory-style rooms Some rooms include a balcony and sink Up to $200 per week in reimbursement for eligible out-of-pocket expenses with receipts Up to $616 per week toward private offsite accommodation and eligible expenses at selected locations Our CC Medical staff consistently provide excellent feedback about these locations, including supportive teams, friendly communities and social activities such as lawn bowls, quiz nights and group dinners.
