About the Role As a Mental Health Recovery Practitioner, you will work closely with residents to develop and implement recovery-focused plans, facilitate meaningful one-on-one sessions, and deliver therapeutic group programs that support personal growth and wellbeing.
Working Monday to Friday, you will play a key role in helping people navigate their recovery journey while contributing to a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment.
What You'll Be Doing Developing and reviewing individual recovery plans in partnership with residents Facilitating recovery-focused one-on-one support sessions Delivering group programs and psychoeducational activities Supporting residents to identify strengths, goals and practical strategies for recovery Collaborating with families, carers and key stakeholders where appropriate Completing documentation and maintaining accurate records Promoting recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-centred practice Contributing to a positive team culture and continuous service improvement About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Community Services, Occupational Therapy, Counselling or a related field Experience supporting people experiencing mental distress Knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care Strong communication, relationship building and facilitation skills The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team A genuine commitment to person-centred support and social inclusion Strong documentation and computer skills Desirable: Experience working in residential mental health services Experience facilitating therapeutic groups This role is full-time working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm About Us At Richmind WA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life, connected to their community and supported in their recovery and wellbeing journey.
