About the Role
n
I'm looking for an exceptional person to join me full-time as a Real Estate Assistant / Client Service Manager.
n
This is much more than a standard administration position.
n
You'll work closely alongside McGrath real estate agent Mark Johnson helping manage clients, properties, marketing, appointments and the day-to-day organisation behind a busy real estate business.
n
The role will be based partly from our office in Warners Bay, with much of our property and client work focused around Western Lake Macquarie, including the **** and **** areas.
n
You don't need to know everything about real estate from day one. The right person can be taught the systems, processes and industry knowledge.
n
What is much harder to teach — and what I'm really looking for — is someone who genuinely cares about doing a great job.
n
I want someone who takes pride in their work, cares about clients, wants to impress, notices the little things and gets satisfaction from doing something properly.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Managing and following up clients
n
Answering and making phone calls
n
Booking and coordinating appointments
n
Attending property and client appointments
n
Preparing documents and assisting with contracts
n
Managing databases and client information
n




Coordinating property marketing
n
Helping organise photography, videos and advertising
n
Social media management across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
n
Basic photo and video editing
n
Assisting with property listings and sales campaigns
n
Following up buyers and sellers
n
Helping keep the business organised and running efficiently
n
Working closely with me on whatever needs to be done to provide an exceptional level of service to our clients

Experience is valuable, but attitude is more important to me.

If you're the type of person who wants to do the bare minimum and go home, this probably isn't the right position.

If you're someone who likes being trusted with responsibility, wants to become genuinely valuable to a business and takes pride in becoming excellent at what you do, I'd really like to hear from you.

Experience
n
Previous experience in real estate, administration, customer service, sales, hospitality or a similar client-facing role would be highly regarded.
n
However, real estate experience is not essential.
n
I'd rather hire someone with an outstanding attitude and teach them real estate than hire someone experienced who doesn't care about the quality of their work.
n
Salary & Prospect
n
Starting salary: $65,000 per year + bonuses and incentives
n
Depending on performance, you could reasonably expect to earn approximately $65,000–$80,000+ per year, with the opportunity for your remuneration and responsibilities to grow as you become more valuable to the business.
n
This isn't intended to be a dead-end administration job.
n
For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on considerably more responsibility over time and build a genuine career in real estate.
n
Hours
n
This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position.
n
Real estate can occasionally require some flexibility around appointments and busy periods, so I'm looking for someone who understands that we're ultimately working around our clients.
