Requirements

1. Qualifications; preferred MBBS or Equivalent
n
2. Must have current AHPRA general/specialist or limited registered registration.

3. Minimum two years GP experience

Duties
n
n
1. Conducting medical examinations and consulting with patients to identify the nature of illnesses and disorders, while maintaining accurate medical records
n
2. Requesting and interpreting laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic investigations to support the diagnosis of medical conditions
n
3. Providing comprehensive patient care, including prescribing and administering medications, treatments and other appropriate therapeutic measures
n
4. Monitoring patients' conditions, progress and responses to treatment
n
5. Providing guidance on diet, physical activity and lifestyle practices that support the prevention and management of diseases and disorders
n
6. Referring patients to specialist Medical Practitioners and sharing relevant medical information as required
n
7. Notifying relevant government authorities of births, deaths and legally reportable diseases
n
8. Coordinating and arranging patient admissions to hospitals
n
