Join a well-established engineering and maintenance business AustCorp Executive is currently recruiting for an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering and maintenance business based in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Boilermaker looking for stable, long-term employment with a company delivering a diverse range of engineering, fabrication and maintenance projects.

About the Role
n
Working as part of an experienced workshop and site team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair and maintenance of a variety of steel and metal components and equipment. The role will provide plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work across both workshop-based fabrication and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Fabricate and assemble structural and general steelwork.
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
n
Measure, mark, cut and prepare materials for fabrication.
n
Perform MIG, TIG and/or ARC welding as required.
n
Fit and assemble fabricated components accurately.
n
Carry out repairs, modifications and maintenance work.
n
Use workshop machinery, hand tools and fabrication equipment.
n
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
n
Work collaboratively with other trades and engineering personnel.
n
Assist with installation and site-based work when required.
n

About You
n
n
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator.
n
Previous experience in a fabrication, engineering or maintenance setting.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Strong welding and fabrication skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Strong safety awareness.
n
A reliable and hardworking attitude.
n
