ETA Group is seeking experienced Electricians for upcoming Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works at Goonyella Mine.
n This is a short-term opportunity consisting of approximately one week of pre-work followed by a four-week shutdown, working 12-hour shifts on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

About the role
n Working within a crew of approximately eight electrical personnel, you will assist with Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works.
n Pre-work will include off-site training, SOPs, medicals, online training, confined-space training and site authorisation activities.
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Current unrestricted electrical licence
n
Standard 11 - highly advantageous
n
Current Coal Board Medical - highly advantageous
n
Previous experience in a similar role
n
Experience with MCC and/or HV switchboard replacement works
n
Previous BMA or Goonyella Mine experience - highly advantageous
n
Current Goonyella Mine authorisations - highly regarded
n
n
Successful applicants will be required to satisfy all relevant site access requirements, including medical, training and authorisation requirements where applicable.
n
Key dates
n Off-site training is expected to commence from approximately 14 September, with site authorisation activities scheduled for late September and early October.
