Asset Valuations Group
Queensland
Job Description
Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking to build a career in the property sector? Asset Valuations Group is a respected Brisbane-based property valuation firm, and we're looking for a proactive Valuations Assistant to support our team and keep our day-to-day running smoothly.
n
This is a varied, client-facing role with genuine exposure to residential, commercial, and industrial property valuation — ideal for someone who enjoys juggling admin, communication, and coordination, and wants to learn an industry from the inside.
n
About the role
n
Reporting to our valuations team, you'll be the organisational backbone of the office — preparing documentation, keeping our records accurate, coordinating inspections, and acting as a first point of contact for clients. No two days look quite the same.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Preparing valuation reports and documentation under the direction of qualified valuers
n
Accurately entering and maintaining property data, client records, and valuation information in our systems
n
Managing electronic filing and archiving of reports and related documents
n
Scheduling appointments and inspections, and coordinating site access with owners and agents
n
Preparing invoices, fee quotes, and job confirmations
n
Monitoring job progress to help meet deadlines and compliance requirements
n
Acting as the first point of contact for clients,
agents, banks, and other stakeholders by phone, email, and in person
n
Collecting property information and documentation from clients ahead of inspections
n
Managing correspondence and contributing ideas to improve how we work
n
What we're looking for
n
Prior experience in an administrative, property, or customer service role
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM or property management software
n
The ability to prioritise and manage your time in a busy environment
n
A friendly, professional manner and a genuine focus on looking after clients
n
An interest in — or understanding of — the property or valuation industry (a bonus, not a requirement)
n
Nice to have
n
Qualifications in Business Administration or Property
n
A current Queensland driver's licence
n
A willingness to complete a police check as part of pre-employment screening
n
What we offer
n
A supportive, close-knit team where your work is genuinely valued
n
On-the-job training and the chance to learn the valuation industry from experienced professionals
n
A reliable, full-time role with standard Monday to Friday office hours
n
Room to grow, progression, variety, or development opportunities that are real
