Job Description
About the role
n
This newly created role supports the Workshop Manager as hands-on 2IC, coordinating daily workflow while delivering fitting, fabrication, maintenance and breakdown support across feed mill and poultry infrastructure.
n
Duties
n
n
Prioritise daily workshop jobs and keep work moving.
n
Guide tradespeople and apprentices on the workshop floor.
n
Check quality, safety, permits, job cards and timesheets.
n
Complete fitting, fabrication, repairs and maintenance.
n
Manage tools, consumables, parts flow and workshop order.
n
n
Benefits

$45 - $48/hr + super + overtime and penalty rates.
n
9-day fortnight (every 2nd Monday or Friday off).
n
Day-shift hours from 6am till 3:30pm
n

Skills & experience
n
n
Relevant mechanical / engineering trade qualification or equivalent background.
n
Workshop, industrial, agricultural or feed mill experience.
n
Hands-on leadership, mentoring or supervisory ability.
n
Open licence, White Card and Full Australian work rights.
