Trinity Facade Group Australia Pty Ltd (TFGA) is a specialist facade contractor delivering high-performance facade packages across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments throughout New South Wales. Operating from our Moorebank facility, we work with architects, developers, and head contractors to deliver precision-engineered curtain wall systems, doors and windows, aluminium joinery, glazing, cladding, and balustrade solutions from concept through to installation.

About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head Estimator to lead our estimating function. Reporting to the Director, you will own the end-to-end tendering process across a portfolio spanning residential towers, commercial office and retail developments, and mixed-use projects. This is a senior leadership role that combines hands-on estimating expertise with strategic oversight of bids, budgets, and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for facade packages across all project types.
n
Review and interrogate architectural drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to define scope and exclusions
n
Source, negotiate, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to achieve competitive, margin-positive bids.
n
Identify commercial risks and recommend pricing strategies to the Director
n
Attend pre-tender site visits, briefings, and post-tender negotiations with Builders and head contractors
n
Track awarded and lost tenders,



analyse win rates, and continuously improve estimating accuracy
n
Coordinate with project management and procurement teams to ensure bid-to-build continuity including underatking project handovers
n
Manage and mentor junior estimators and review processes
n

Required Essential Skills and Experience
n
n
8+ years of estimating experience in facade, doors and windows, curtain wall, glazing, aluminium joinery, or closely related construction disciplines
n
Proven track record managing and winning competitive tenders for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects
n
Deep technical knowledge of facade systems including curtain wall, unitised systems, doors and windows, cladding, glazing, and balustrades
n
Experience with V6 or similar facade fabrication / modelling software
n
Familiarity with Australian Standards relevant to facade construction (e.g. AS ****, NCC)
n
Experience preparing D&C; (design and construct) tender responses
n
Solid commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to identify risk, protect margin, and negotiate with builders, and suppliers
n
Leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor a high-performing estimating team
n
