Clinical Nurse Educator - Renal Services

Opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Education Team as a Clinical Nurse Educator.
n
Working across the Renal service including 6SW, 6W, Home Dialysis and John Perret
n
Fixed term contract | 40 hours per fortnight | October **** – July ****
n

About the role
n
As a Clinical Nurse Educator within the Renal Service, you will play a key leadership role in building nursing capability, confidence and clinical excellence. You will coordinate, deliver and evaluate evidence-informed education initiatives that support nurses and learners at all levels and align with organisational priorities.
n
Working closely with clinical leaders, the Nursing Education team and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will provide clinically based education, supervision and support across the service. You will contribute to a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice, helping to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, timely and person-centred care.
n

Key Accountabilities
n

Deliver and evaluate evidence-based education programs aligned with service needs.
n
Provide clinical education, supervision and support to nurses and learners.
n
Identify capability needs and support workforce development and succession planning.
n
Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and continuous learning.
n
Collaborate with clinical and multidisciplinary teams to deliver education initiatives.
n
Support staff orientation,
onboarding and ongoing professional development.
n
n
About You
n
n
Extensive nursing experience in specialty, or transferrable skills and a demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively
n
Passionate, enthusiastic, willingness to embrace new ways of learning
n
Ability to provide mentoring and leadership in the clinical area
n
Experience providing staff, graduates and students with clinically-based supervision and training in accordance with RMH policy and procedures
n
Experience in the delivery of Entry to Practice and Graduate Programs, as well as a willingness to support the development and implementation of RISE and Postgraduate programs to staff within the clinical areas
n
