Job Description
n
Seeking a senior platform engineer to lead the migration of the internal platform from its current RKE-based deployment to OpenShift. This is an ownership role — the candidate will drive the migration from design through to full productization and operational handover, working closely with SMEs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Own the end-to-end migration of the platform from RKE to OpenShift from design through build, testing, and full productization.
n
Take/participate in platform re-architecture decisions in collaboration with SMEs
n
Stand up and configure the OpenShift environment,



ensuring parity and improvement over the existing RKE-based platform.
n
Implement full
operationalization:
monitoring, alerting, and alarm integration for the new platform.
n
Manage onboarding of L1/L2 support teams onto the new platform, including runbooks and support processes.
n
Take complete technical ownership of the migration programme, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
n
Support APIGee platform integration points as required
n
n
Required Skills & Experience
n
n
Solid hands-on expertise in OpenShift (design, deployment, and administration).
n
Strong understanding / experience of RKE (the platform being migrated away from).
n
Experience with
platform/infrastructure
migration projects, ideally in a telecom or network operator environment.
n
Familiarity with
monitoring/alerting/observability
tooling and operationalization practices.
n
Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of a transformation programme.
n
Telecom/network domain exposureis highly desirable.
