Senior Project Officer

n 12-month contract, with potential to extend up to 24 months
n Active Baseline clearance required

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of a portfolio of projects within a complex and fast-paced environment.
n This is an excellent chance for a skilled project professional who can work with limited direction, manage competing priorities and build strong relationships across a range of stakeholders.
n As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring delivery and providing high-quality advice and support to ensure projects achieve their intended outcomes.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Coordinate project activities, milestones and deliverables.
n
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reporting frameworks and supporting documentation.
n
Prepare high-quality business cases, executive briefs, project plans and reports.
n
Monitor budgets, expenditure, procurement activities and contracts.
n
Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
n
Support quality assurance, continuous improvement and project governance activities.
n




Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
n
Undertake research, analysis and reporting to inform project decisions.
n
Provide guidance, coaching and support to project team members.
n
Represent the project team at meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums.
n
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing projects within established project management frameworks.
n
Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination and reporting capabilities.
n
Experience monitoring project performance, budgets, risks, issues and deliverables.
n
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
n
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Experience contributing to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting team members.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
An active Baseline security clearance.
