Machine Learning Systems Engineer – Performance & Compute
n
Build high-performance ML frameworks, optimisers and runtimes across C++, Rust, Python and CUDA, pushing research and production performance further.
n
What You'll Do:
n
Build optimisers, code generators, runtime libraries and orchestration systems.
n
Develop and improve compute pipelines across heterogeneous hardware.
n
Investigate hardware behaviour and optimise performance-critical execution paths.
n
Work across the stack, from high-level orchestration to low-level hardware performance.
n
Explore unfamiliar technical areas and develop practical solutions.
n
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand problems and build effective tools.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Designing and evolving machine learning frameworks for research and production.
n
Improving the speed and efficiency of research iteration.
n
Optimising production workloads to run efficiently on available hardware.
n
Working with C++, Rust, Python, MLIR and CUDA.
n
Analysing compute graphs and identifying performance bottlenecks.
n
Building cohesive systems across the full compute stack.
n
