We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener with strong practical abilities and solid administration skills to join our vibrant community on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
n
About the Role
n
As our Landscape Gardener, you will be responsible for the planning, construction, and maintenance of a variety of outdoor spaces within our community.
n
Your duties will include:
n
Design & Planning
n
n
Preparing garden landscape plans and drawings
n
Selecting appropriate materials, plants, and equipment
n
Scheduling landscape construction and maintenance activities
n
n
Landscape Construction
n
n
Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape features
n
Building gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, trellises, pergolas, ponds, barbecues, and garden furniture
n
n
Planting; Grounds Preparation
n
n
Preparing seedbeds and growing sites
n
Planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs
n
Preparing lawn areas, spreading topsoil,



planting grass, and laying instant turf
n
n
General
n
n
Light administration tasks related to planning, scheduling, and materials management
n
Maintaining high standards of safety and environmental care
n
n

We're looking for someone who is:
n
n
At least one year of experience in landscape gardening
n
Minimum one year of experience in any type of landscape gardening including construction, maintenance, or design work.
n
Holds Cert III and IV in a relevant field
n
Competent in preparing plans, drawings, and schedules
n
Knowledge of administration and some computer applications
n
Reliable, practical, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Willing to live and work within a community environment on the Sunshine Coast
n
