Job Summary
n
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, to lead our warehouse operations and support a high-performing team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment, receiving, dispatch, forklift operations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a hands‐on leadership style, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy within a fast‐paced FMCG environment. This role will be full time based at Pemulwuy, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
n
Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership
n
n
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
n
Lead, motivate and support warehouse staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
n
Allocate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure operational priorities are met.
n
Provide training, coaching and onboarding support for new and existing team members.
n
Conduct regular team meetings and communicate operational updates effectively.
n
Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation to meet business demands.
n
Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to deliver on key Warehouse KPIs.
n
n
Inventory & Stock Management
n
n
Oversee the receiving, storage and movement of stock within the warehouse.
n
Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts and audits.
n
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages and inventory issues.
n
Monitor stock rotation and storage practices to maintain product quality and compliance.
n
Work closely with procurement and sales teams to ensure inventory availability and accuracy.
n
n
Order Fulfilment & Dispatch
n
n
Oversee the accurate picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders.
n
Ensure orders are processed and dispatched within required timeframes.
n
Monitor workflow to maximise efficiency while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
n
Coordinate loading schedules for local deliveries and freight providers.
n
Ensure all dispatch documentation is completed accurately.
n
n
Warehouse Operations & Equipment
n
n
Operate counterbalance and high reach forklifts as required.
n
Oversee the safe loading and unloading of vehicles and shipping containers.
n
Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely.
n
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, processes and operational efficiency.
n
Support warehouse activities during peak periods and assist with hands‐on operational tasks when required.
n

Safety, Compliance & Quality
n
n
Promote and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
n
Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections and risk assessments.
n
Ensure compliance with food safety, storage and handling requirements.
n
Investigate and report workplace incidents, hazards and near misses.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse workplace.
n
n
Documentation & Systems
n
n
Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, dispatch and stock movement records.
n
Ensure warehouse management systems and operational documentation are updated accurately.
n
Prepare inventory and operational reports as required.
n
Monitor key warehouse performance metrics and provide feedback to management.
n
n
Skills & Qualifications
n
n
Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Warehouse role.
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
n
Demonstrated experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts.
n
Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence is preferred.
n
Experience within FMCG, food distribution, wholesale or logistics environments is highly regarded.
n
Strong leadership and people management skills.
n
Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
n
Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
n
Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
n
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
n
Understanding of food safety and product handling requirements is advantageous.
n
Strong problem‐solving, organisational and communication skills.
n
Ability to perform manual handling tasks and support warehouse operations when required.
n
Comfortable working in warehouse and chilled storage environments.
n
A positive, proactive and hands‐on approach to leadership.
