Casino & District Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join its surgical team on a contract basis. This is a six-week minimum engagement starting 17 August, offering the opportunity to work in a busy operating theatre environment at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour. The successful candidate will bring established theatre nursing expertise and a commitment to supporting safe, effective surgical care.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated operating theatre nursing experience in a hospital setting




n
Strong knowledge of theatre protocols, instrument management, and surgical safety standards
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
n
Current understanding of infection control and theatre-specific compliance requirements
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-registration qualification or recognised experience in perioperative nursing
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
