Job Description
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Construction Foreman to join a well-established ACT contractor delivering one of Canberra's most unique construction projects.

This isn't your typical project. You'll play a key role in the delivery of a highly specialised space antenna installation, combining complex civil works with structural construction on a technically challenging site. Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

This role would suit someone who enjoys technically engaging projects and wants to be involved in something genuinely different from the usual commercial construction environment.

The Role
n
n
Supervise daily site operations across civil and structural construction works.
n
Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to maintain programme.
n
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.
n
Monitor quality and workmanship to ensure project specifications are achieved.
n
Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to deliver project milestones.
n
Identify and resolve site issues before they impact programme.
n




Maintain site records, reporting and daily diaries.
n
Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience as a Foreman delivering commercial, civil or structural construction projects.
n
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors across different work fronts.
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics.
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
n
Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and WHS legislation.
n
White Card and current driver's licence.
n
Trade qualification or relevant construction background preferred.
n
