UGL is expanding its Data Centre business and is seeking an experienced Supervisor - Electrical or Mechanical to support the delivery of some of Australia's most significant data centre projects in Melbourne.
n
Working within UGL's integrated delivery model alongside CPB Contractors, you'll play a key role in overseeing site-based construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality project delivery across critical infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities
n

Supervise day-to-day construction activities across data centre projects.
n
Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
n
Monitor construction progress, quality, and productivity across assigned work fronts.
n
Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, permits, and project procedures.
n
Coordinate site interfaces between subcontractors, project teams, consultants, and client representatives.
n
Identify and resolve construction issues, risks, and programme impacts.
n
Support commissioning and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.
n
Champion a strong safety culture and drive high-performance project outcomes.

About You
n
n




Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification with industry experience highly regarded
n
Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors on data centre or large-scale Commerical fit outs (eg hospitals, defence, stadiums).
n
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and site safety requirements.
n
Proven ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholder interfaces.
n
Experience delivering complex projects within live or quick-paced environments.
n
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
