Our client arepartnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking a Senior Network SecurityEngineer with strong, hands-on Check Point Next-Generation Firewall experience.
n
This is a hands-on technical role focused on enterprise firewall architecture, migrations and complex network infrastructurefrom planning and design through to implementation, including production and DR migrations.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Design, configure and implement Check Point firewall environments
n
Deliver complex enterprise firewall migrations and cutovers
n
Manage environments via Check Point Security Management / SmartConsole
n
Work across HA/clustered environments
n
Configure and troubleshoot static and agile routing
n
Develop migration, implementation and rollback plans
n
Troubleshoot complex firewall, routing, NAT and VPN issues
n
Manage changes through formal enterprise change processes
n




Produce clear technical documentation and implementation plans
n
Participate in planned after-hours migrations
n
n
What We're Looking For
n

Check Point Gaia / SmartConsole / Security Management
n
Check Point HA and clustering
n
Enterprise firewall migrations
n
Static and dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF or similar)
n
NAT, VPN and firewall policies
n
Production and DR environments
n
Complex network troubleshooting
n
Change management and technical documentation
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Check Point certifications (CCSA / CCSE)
n
Experience with large-scale enterprise firewall migrations
n
Exposure to other firewall platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto or Cisco)
n
Background in an MSP, Systems Integrator or Consulting environment
n
Experience in enterprise or data‐centre networking environments
