As part of St Albans Hospitality, you'll be joining a collection of Brisbane's leading hospitality venues, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster and Sunshine. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head Waiter to join our team. This is a casual position offering consistent hours, with the opportunity for a full time position for the right person.

Your Role
n
As Head Waiter, you'll lead service from the floor, setting the standard for exceptional hospitality while supporting and mentoring the front-of-house team. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll help deliver seamless service, build a positive team culture and ensure every guest leaves with an outstanding experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
n
Lead service each shift with confidence and professionalism.
n
Mentor, coach and support junior team members.
n
Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
n
Maintain exceptional service standards and attention to detail.
n
Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
n




Build strong product knowledge across our food, wine and beverage offerings.
n
Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
n
Lead by example, creating a positive and high-performing team environment.
n
About You
n
You'll bring:

Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Section Waiter or Supervisor within a premium restaurant.
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
n
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire those around you.
n
Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
n
Excellent food, wine and beverage knowledge.
n
A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
n
Full working rights in Australia.
n
A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
n
