Charles Bowman Transport partners with one of Australia's' leading white good and home entertainment retailers and are seeking experienced Drivers & Offsiders to join our growing team. Crews depart daily from Beresfield and deliver to homes and businesses in the Newcastle and Central Coast Region, NSW.

We are looking for casual drivers and offsiders available to work a variety of shifts. We offer set rosters and current vacancies are:

2x Thurs-Mon
n
2x Mon-Sat
n
2x Tues-Sat
n
Deliveries are conducted as a 2 Person Crew (4.5T Pantech w PTG). Modern trucks with tailgate lifters and all equipment supplied.
n
Start times are from 6:30am & generally our crews finish between 1-5pm depending on how many deliveries you are assigned for the day.
n
White goods delivery and installation experience preferred, must be willing to learn & be part of a outstanding team. We are looking for people who are fit, strong, reliable, honest, trustworthy & hard working.

Required Tasks




n
Work as part of a 2 man crew completing deliveries and whitegoods installations.
n
Communicating with customers to arrange deliveries and give estimated arrival times.
n
Load truck for safe transportation of goods.
n
Working to the routing schedule laid out by the operations team.
n
Operate and manage delivery confirmation app.
n
7 Day a week operation with the opportunity to work 6 days during peak periods.
n
Requirements
n
Able to lift heavy or bulky items at times in a safe manner with your partner.
n
Can do attitude with good customer service
n
Drivers must have applicable drivers license. Offsiders will require photo identification for onboarding processes only.
n
National Police Check
n
Drivers must hold a Class LR (Light Rigid) licence or above.
n
Australian work rights are required for this position.
