Louie is a neighbourhood restaurant in Coogee, just across from the beach, serving a modern Italian menu in a casual but elevated setting. We are a busy restaurant that has been open for the past 4 years going from strength to strength.

We're looking for experienced wait staff who can take a section, own it, and make it look easy. People that have a genuine passion for food, service and hospitality excellence.

What the job actually looks like

Running your own section and leading the floor alongside our management team - reading a room before it needs you, keeping your team calm and moving, being the person who fixes the thing before the guest has to mention it.

Talking guests through the menu with real knowledge - what's in it, why we cook it that way, what to drink with it - and setting the standard for how everyone else on the floor does the same.

You know your way around a wine list and can genuinely recommend, not just recite.
n
You're warm with guests without being scripted - you actually like people.

You get a kick out of a table leaving happier than they arrived.
