About the role
n
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Echuca, VIC. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a genuine difference in the lives of our participants. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals living with a disability, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. This role is fundamental to delivering high-quality care and support that enables our participants to engage fully in their communities.

What you'll be doing
n
Providing emotional support and companionship, fostering meaningful relationships with clients.
n
Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs or wellbeing.
n
Communicating effectively with team members, clients and their families.
n




Following health and safety protocols, safeguarding procedures and organisational policies.
n
What we're looking for
n
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
n
Physical capability to assist with personal care and mobility support.
n
Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
n
Willingness to undertake training and comply with relevant legislation and policies.
n
A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
A Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Desirable: Qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
n
Desirable: First Aid and CPR certification
