We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welding Supervisor to join our team based at our Maryborough site; you will provide a significant contribution to the implementation, monitoring and improvement of Welding activities required to be carried out to support the delivery of Passenger Rolling stock train sets.

About the role
n
n
Supervise welding activities as required
n
Review the weld specific technical requirements of rolling stock design to provide guidance on joint design, welding process, accessibility and sequencing.
n
Conduct audits on the Welding activities to ensure facility complies with the Weld Management System requirements.
n
Achieve and maintain welding performance KPI's to support Production delivery.
n
n
About You
n
n
A minimum Qualification to:
n
IWS - International Welding Specialist or equivalent.
n
Welding Supervisor Certificate IAW AS ****,



AS **** Cert 10
n
IWT - International Welding Technologist preferred
n
IWE - International Welding Engineer
n
n
Skills and experience
n
n
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing workplace.
n
Previous demonstrated experience in rail bogie and carbody manufacture and welding an advantage.
n
Has demonstrated experience in a Team
Leadership/Supervision
role.
n
Experience with Robotic Resistance and Mig Welding systems an advantage.
n
