Job Description
Cairns Flat Packs is seeking a Cabinet Maker / workshop assembler to join our team in Cairns, QLD - on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company in the tropical Cairns region. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32-$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience. We also work 4.5 days per week with the prospect for overtime.

What you'll be doing
n
Assisting with the production, assembly and preparation for dispatch our flat pack and pre-assembled cabinetry orders
n
Operate our Edge bander and CNC machine
n
Read and interpret technical drawings and designs
n
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed timelines
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role
n
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
Attention to detail and quality of work
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
