Mechanical Design Engineer to join ourEngineering team in Bunbury. This is a

for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experienceacross the design, development, verification, and delivery ofmechanical plant and equipment while working alongside
experiencedengineering
professionals.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Engineering leadership team, you will support the delivery of engineering projects within the bulk materials handling sector, contributing to projects from concept design through to execution. You'll receive mentoring,
structureddevelopment,
and exposure to a wide range of engineering activitiesthat will help build a strong foundation for your career.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with engineering and design activities for mechanical plant and equipment.
n
Perform engineering calculations and support design verification activities.
n
Assist with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and otherengineering assessments.
n
Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards,
statutoryrequirements,
and client specifications.
n
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs,and constructability workshops.
n
Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and project deliverables.
n
Support tendering and project delivery teams with technicalinput and design assistance.
n
Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, draftingpersonnel, and project stakeholders.
n
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within theengineering team.

Qualifications. Skills and Experience
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent.
n
Up to 2 years' relevant experience through
employment,vacation
work, internships, or graduate placements.
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solvingcapability.
n
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft
Officeapplications.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Exposure to ANSYS, Strand7, Nastran or similar FEAsoftware.
n
Knowledge of mining, resources, materials handling, ormachine design.
n
Engineers Australia membership or eligibility.
n
Progress towards Chartered Engineer or
RPEngaccreditation.
n
n
